The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) has named its Three Stars for week 3 of regular season play:

STAR FORWARD  ⭐️

BRODIE WOOD, SIOUX LOOKOUT BOMBERS
VANCOUVER, BC
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 2 ⋅ A: 1 ⋅ PTS: 3
Wood scored in each of Sioux Lookout’s road games at Dryden including the overtime winner on Saturday and helped the Bombers to a 4-point weekend.

Honorable mention to Kam River’s Carter Poddubny 2G, 1A for week in 3GP.  Points in each game.

 

STAR DEFENCEMAN ⭐️

KADEN VELLER, SIOUX LOOKOUT BOMBERS
MACKLIN, SK
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 1 ⋅ A: 1 ⋅ PTS: 2
Veller had points in each of Sioux Lookout’s road games at Dryden. Goal was overtime winner Friday night propelling the Bombers to a 4-point weekend.

Honorable mention to Red Lake’s Brayden Rowsell: 1G, 1A points in both games at home vs. Kam River.

Ofukany with 124 minutes played in a weekend sweep in Dryden, both games won in overtime.

Honorable mention to Fort Frances Lakers Brady Cates – Fort Frances – 1-0 record .971 Sv% and 1 goal allowed in one appearance.
