Volunteer
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our hockey club. Volunteering with your Sioux Lookout Bombers is a great way to get out, meet people and give back to our community.
There are a variety of positions within the organization. There is something for everyone. Here are some of the areas where you can help us out:
Hockey Operations
Do you have experience in high-level hockey or elite athletics? Contact our General Manager to see what opportunities are available.
Communications and Media
There are a number of exciting opportunities to work in a high-paced environment. Our media crew helps bring Bombers hockey to the world. Including producing high-quality streaming of every Bombers home game, fun and informative social media content and even videos for our YouTube page. Positions include play by play and colour commentary announcers, technical staff, camera operators and still photographers.
Game Day Operations
Get close to all the action. Be a part of the team that helps our Bombers home games run smoothly and professionally. We require scorekeepers, timekeepers, penalty box attendants and goal judges for each game. Prior experience is an asset but basic knowledge of the game of hockey is enough. Training is provided.
Game Day Promotions
Help us make every Bombers home game an event to remember. Our promotions crew assists with contest's giveaway and interactive fan activities as well as assisting our game day sponsors in engaging with our fans.
Concessions and Merchandise
A great way to meet new people and help out the Bombers. We are always looking for people to help out in the Terminal food bar on game days as well as during events at the Hangar. Volunteer as often as you'd like. We also need operate the Merch Outlet in the lobby during Bombers games. Training is provided.
Security
Help us make Bombers games safe and enjoyable for the entire community. Security staff keep an eye on the fans in the Hangar. Previous experience is an asst but not required.
