Three Stars of the Month: November 2024

The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) has named it Three Stars for the month of November 2024:

FIRST STAR 🌟

ALEX LUCAS, SIOUX LOOKOUT BOMBERS
GP: 10 ⋅ G: 9 ⋅ A: 12 ⋅ PTS: 21 ⋅ +18 ⋅ PPG: 2.10
The Sioux Lookout Bombers streaked to a 7-3-0 record in November, catapulting them up the SIJHL standings. Pivotal to this team success was Alex Lucas, who tallied points in all but two games, and scored in all but three. The Oro-Medonte, ON native’s statement came against the Red Lake Miners where he led the Bombers to an important 6-4 victory, picking up a hat trick and the GWG in the third. Lucas was named second star of the week in both Week 9 and Week 11.

SECOND STAR ⭐️⭐️

DAXTON LANG, KAM RIVER FIGHTING WALLEYE
GP: 10 ⋅ G: 10 ⋅ A: 11 ⋅ PTS: 21 ⋅ +18 ⋅ PPG: 2.10
Lang has been a consistent honouree of the three stars of the week, finding himself on the list four times this season. This is the first monthly honour for Lang. In the month of November, Lang was a consistent contributor to the Fighting Walleye, getting points in 9 of 10 games.

THIRD STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️

BRADY KRENTZ, FORT FRANCES LAKERS
GP: 11 ⋅ G: 7 ⋅ A: 9 ⋅ PTS: 16 ⋅ +9 ⋅ PPG: 1.45
Krentz was the first star of last weekend, but has been consistent all month long. In 11 games played, Krentz found the scoresheet in all of them. Krentz was a pivotal player in a couple of key weekends this month, as the Lakers swept a weekend home stand against Thunder Bay and Kam River, and this past weekend sweeping the streaking Sioux Lookout Bombers.
