Big News!

We are shifting our online presence to our website bombershockey.ca. The transition has already begun but will start in full force in the coming weeks.

What changes?
We will continue to post to our social media channels, Facebook and Instagram but you will be directed to our website for full details. Posts on www.bombershockey.ca will be more immersive and include multimedia features and hyperlinks to additional information. We are also reviving our weekly email newsletter, “The Scoop.” Sign up for the newsletter and get an email from us every Monday morning with updates, upcoming events and offers from our online merch outlet.

Why change?
Social media algorithms change constantly and messaging on social media can get lost in a clutter of noise and advertising. Our website is not subject to algorithm changes and content like photo galleries,  news posts and game recaps are easy to find and stored long-term.
bombershockey.ca will be a central hub for fans, families, players and scouts. The website is already connected to league data such as schedules, standings, and stats. In addition, you will be able to easily find information on team events, volunteering, game information and merch.

What will you find on the updated bombershockey.ca:

Game Recaps
After each home game we will post a full period-by-period synopsis of the game along with quick stats and a link to the boxscore for in-depth analysis. Plus you’ll find the KNET Video Recap embedded right in the post and a gallery of the best photos from our media crew. We are also planning more content, like post-game interviews with coaches and players.

Road Reports
After each road series (or one-off road game) we will post a report including a breakdown, quick stats and links to the boxscore for each game. Also included in the report will be a handful of video clips from the SIJHLTV broadcast.

Carson’s Corner
Our head coach will have a weekly column where he will offer some insight into the Bombers team and share his thoughts on a variety of topics like recruiting, development, and player advancement.

Player Transactions
Get all the details on player transactions with links to player profiles and quotes from the player and our team staff.

The Bombers are committed to volunteering and outreach in our community. See how they are helping out and participating in community events.
